I am an accomplished (Agile and Prince2 Practitioner) Senior IT Project Manager with over 10 years of specific IT PM experience. I have a proven track record of delivering multi-million-pound projects on time, on budget – and with a smile – within both the public and private sectors

I am confident managing the full project lifecycle to achieve delivery on time, within budget and to the agreed quality specifications. I am capable of managing multiple projects concurrently and taking ownership of budget, commercial and resource elements. I am recognised as an influential and coercive leader who can direct diverse teams and manage stake-holder expectations. I specialise in implementing rapid transformational change with minimal impact on BAU operations and building sustainable stakeholder relationships. I am a safe pair of hands.

With a 10-year military service (Sergeant Class 1 Telecommunications Technician, Royal Signals 1988-98) preceding my PM career, I am 100% focussed and utterly professional – bringing a ‘can-do’ approach to projects. I am SC clearable, with my clearance most recently expiring in 2019.

All projects introduce change and with change comes risk, conflict and transition, all of which must be managed and owned by the Project Manager.
METHODOLOGIES.

I have extensive experience with Prince2 methodologies and am happy with Agile sprints and SCRUMs too. It’s all about selecting the right tools for the specific task and team you’re working with.

ENGAGEMENT.

I am a highly effective communicator and I am a PM because I enjoy engaging with people, – be they 3rd party suppliers or internal teams. I have the courage and integrity to challenge processes and senior management whilst maintaining effective relationships, delivering end to end project delivery from discovery through to transition into BAU.

GOVERNANCE.

I m a strong advocate for constructive governance and adaptable to all compliance measures. From a short, sharp JFDI mobilisation to a delicate, risk averse migration. I also have experience in creating green-field governance from scratch.
